Dash light bulbs ?

Are all the dash light bulbs the same as the side marker lights? If not what number are they ?

Thanx, I thought they were but some of the little individual sockets are a different color . Just wandering if the meant anything.

194 are standard but there are others in that style that have more or less watts if you want them brighter or dimmer.
Sylvania has a chart but the wattage is also listed on the package.
If you decide to go LED I use the 5 SMS 194 style for dash bulbs.

LEDs sounds good, but wouldn’t they be quite bright and a bit distracting at night?

I have green ones in my Regal and IMO they are not too bright and I can see everything clearly, different styles and colors that fit will vary on brightness depending on the amount of LED's and how they are arranged to disperse light but once you install them you will probably never have to replace them again.

I put LEDs in too. They're not too bright, but do not dim well, either if at all.

I also bought mine from Ebay years ago and because they were so cheap I played with different styles and colors to get the result I wanted.
