A base '78-'81 switch should work as the non delay motor is the same & the wire colors are the same for the connector pigtails. The mount bracket is also the same for '78-'85 round speedo dashes. Grab a cluster face plate from any '78-'81 Monte or round gauge equipped Elky/Malibu/Caballero so you can have the needed switch opening. Only thing is you'll have to wire in the bulb socket if you wish to have the switch to light with the dash lights.Anyone know what rotary dash mount switch would work with an 82 el camino wiper motor. Only want to control low, high speed and park, no delay and no washer.

Thank you ELCAM. Could you explain the need for a relay please.The generic wiper switch sold many places will work but you will also need a relay in the circuit.
A 2 Pole 3 position rotary switch will do what you want.

Is it possible for you to point me to a wiring diagram showing this set up?You need 2 wires grounded to make low speed. Using the single pole switch you have no way to isolate the two wires once they are connected together.
If you ground both of the wires to make low speed then they would still both be grounded in the high speed setting. So you would have Off-Low-Low. With a relay you can ground one wire and keep the other wire isolated from it in high setting so you would get Off-Low-Hi.
That's why the 2 pole switch would also work, there are 2 switches in one and the two circuits can be kept isolated when needed and connected together when needed.
On the early wiper motor the switch controls the ground so the B terminal on the switch is grounded. Park function is all internal on the early motor so no connection needed for this.
The +12V for the relay should be fused and switched perhaps circuit 39 Purple with black stripe.
When low is switched on the gray wire is grounded and the coil on the relay is grounded, grounding the purple wire. When the switch is on HI the gray and relay are turned off and the purple wire is grounded by it's self.
