i don't know anything about all this but i love me some pizza..
Dam... I thought I could wave my magic wand and get more daylight hours. You know exactly what I mean. More daylight when I get home from work.
Sorry, had to let it out...every year it's the same thing, all these people going on about the "extra" daylight. Could just start their days earlier if they really wanted to maximize their time, course, many don't like to work before work, and I think we know somebody who falls into that category, even here on the forum 😉 😆
I remember that, I not sure if I was still in elementary or jr high back then, but I hated it because it was dark for so late in the day. This was in So.Cal. where the day and nights are more even in terms of their length.
Early to bed, early to rise, less popular with partiers, but healthy, wealthy (sort-of), and wise (debatable).
On the other hand...

Going blind doesn't sound fun...
I really feel this is a matter of people not leaving well enough alone.
