Daytime Running Lites

I think it's safer to run some lites up front at all times so I decided to use the front signal lites. I have them wired so the signals come on with the ignition. The DRL stay on until I turn the signal on whichever side is flashing, the opposite side the DRL stays on, The DRL is turned off on the side that is flashing until the turn signal is turned off and then the DRL mode kicks in again. The DRLs are also wired to turn off when the lights are turned on. I used two 10,000 UF capacitors, two 10k 1/4 watt resistors, 4 relays and 6 diodes so it's around a $10 cost to do it.
