I'm trying to remove the deals off my ss... the stripes, and the ss lettering
i don't care whats under it.. its getting painted...

the 1/4 needed sanding so i just sanded it all off.. but the door and fender are coming off about 1 cm squares.. its taking forever... i tried using brake cleaner in 1 spot... it worked beautifully.. but i don't want issues when it come to paint time... and i don't know how the nose would react to something that strong..

what should i do?

3M adheisive cleaner...
Softens the glue nicely and won't eat the paint.

There are also rubber eraser wheels that attach to a drill or die grinder, and will scrub off the stickers and not harm the paint.
