Ok now it's getting weird. Start the car up today, sound is gone. Drove around the block, runs and drives fine. No sound. Put it up on jacks, the flex plate and torque converter has no weird wobbles or anything. Everything looks and appears fine on a basic inspection. I'm going to take it out for an extended drive in a bit and see if it comes back.

A friend suggested the flex plate bolts could be loose. I checked, those suckers are in there. Taking it for a drive in a minute.

Flex plate covers can cause the sound you are hearing. I tried an aftermarket plastic one that caused havoc.

Drove t about a half mile and the sound came back. Again runs and shifts perfect.

New vid. Sound seems like it's coming from the tail section of the transmission area near the cats.

I know its more likely a bad news thing like a transmission or torque converter issue, but I really want to say its int the exhaust. Like something broke loose in one of the cats and it rattling. Wishful thinking I guess.
