By cranked up, I mean 600+hp.
1st, drums work fine with sub 400 hp. 2nd, if you are going to weld on brackets for the LS1 brakes, then can get by with junkyard 2wd S10 axles and weld your brackets on in the appropriate locations. The S10 axles are approx 3/16-1/4” longer but will easily ride in the stock wheel bearing location. If budget is not a concern, then stop with using a 7.5” housing. 3rd, stock master cylinder is going to need to be replaced.no not cranked up ... cam headers tbi 350 and 700r4) just doin c6 fronts and ls1 rears just up grading the car for bigger 17/18" or 18/19" wheel set plus they work better an look better then drums
YEA JUST DONT WANT TO LOOK AT DUM BRAKES .. BUILDING A 80 MALIBU AND FOR THE BRAKES I HAVE THE FULL BACKING PLATE SETUP FROM CAMARO INCLUDING THE PARKING BRAKE CABLES IF IT WASNT FOR THE DAM CENTER PIN BEING A PITA.
