Digital dash in 86

My 86 GN has the digital dash and I'm having some issues with the speedometer. Most of the time it works, but about a 1/4 of the time the speed keeps jumping around, from 15 to 30 to 10 to 35. It just bounces around like that. Anyone else expiring that? I want to get a GNX instrument cluster but they are RIDICULOUSLY over priced.

I know this is a dumb question on my part, but have you tried cleaning all the connections yet and using a bit of dielectric grease? Being that it's not a constant problem, that would be my first place to look.

I haven't pulled it out yet. It's not quite an annoying enough problem yet. I just wanted to see if this was a common issue. I havnt seem a lot of other digital dashes in the GN. Thanks for the input though
