Distributor

So im basically trying to eliminate the computer on my 307
ive already got hedmann headers,edelbrock intake & carb
What distributor should i go with??
i was looking into proform (Summit PN-66955)
Or should i go with a mallory or an MSD?
Is there anyting elese i would need to do this?
..And all of this will be transferred to a 350 Olds in a year or so.

Also got a G Force Crossmember
Any ideas for mufflers and an x pipe?

I have heard good things about D.U.I. distributors.

For exhaust I would go with Pypes and get a 2.5" full exhaust system.

The Pypes exhaust is a nice kit. I would recommend it too. As for a distributor, I have had great luck with Mallory units. My brothers and I all have them in our cars and have never had a problem. All of us had issues with Proforms and we tossed them. I've never heard anything bad about D.U.I distributors but can't speak from experience.

Proform is chinese junk....MSD is chinese junk......

I have heard a lot of people b*tch about MSD, seems that their junk is not that good. Never heard any bad about Mallory or DUI, but somone somewhere has had problems, maybe they can chime in. As for headers, i have always run Flowtechs on my GP and had good luck with them.

I've seen some caddi cast iron shorty headers that caddi currently uses and they look real nice...
