I usually don't get into the political type debates, but have to interject a couple notes....
#1) the program accepted certain years- the 74 fireturd wouldn't have been accepted...
#2) those people who got all that credit toward a newer vehicle? well, not only did they put themselves into car payments they couldn't afford, but many states (NC included) took the credit toward income, and TAXED those people on it! so where was the saving?
