I soldered the plug onto the GN harness last night and plugged it in. I still need to put a mini fuse block under the hood for the spark, injector, and fan power wires along with organize some wires but overall it wasn't that bad!

Good news is I have power back in the car (fans, dome lights and ignition buzzer) so I didn't totally mess it up. I also bumped the starter and the engine turned over.

My griffin dual pass radiator should be here for the 2+2 today so next project after wrapping up the wiring is putting that rad in the 2+2 and taking the one currently in the 2+2 out and dropping it in the wagon. Then it's figuring out the fans wiring.

Wired up my fans, fuel pump, injector, and coil wires last night. Also hooked up the oil pressure gauge.

I cranked it for like 30 seconds and I didnt get oil pressure. Either I lost prime in the year and a half since I built the engine or the cam sensor I bought is missing the drive roll pin which i doubt. Ill try turning it over again tonight with the plugs out for a while and see if it gets pressure. If not ill pull the cam sensor again and re-prime the engine.

Car didnt start which I was confused for a bit until I remembered I don't have ECM power or ground hooked up. Ooops....

Project bounce back and forth between my 2 project cars.

Good news is the car kinda studdered to life last night for a half a second! The fuel pump works BUT the -6 AN to M14 adapter fittings leak real bad even with the crush washers. Same issue my buddy with his fiero had with the same fittings. He was able get them to seal with a pile of fuel system goo sealant so I am going to use some and see if I can really start the car. However, it did run at 500rpm for like 1-2 seconds and coughed and shuddered so I call that partially successful.

Dropped the radiator and to support plate from the 2+2 in the wagon 2 nights ago

And primed the oil pump since it wasnt priming during cranking the last few nights. Top tip, a cheapo screwdriver that you remove the handle and a 16mm socket make a perfect oil pump priming tool! The screw driver sits perfectly in the drive tang slot and the socket slips over the screw driver shank and keeps the screw driver from falling off. It also wont fall off the end of the screw driver since the wider end prevents it from going to far.

Looking good so far and good luck! You might want to get some t-bolt clams for your air charge side. Normal hose clamps will blow off when you least expect it.

Crappy exhaust stuff. Bought one of those euro ball joint connectors which are awesome and welded it to the stock down pipe and welded a 2 1/2 to 2" adapter to the stock exhaust which is in good shape.

I plan to put a boost actuated cut out in the gap between that's currently just pipe but for now it keeps the car semi quiet for driving around the block.

Total investment was like $30 so I'm happy with that.
