Do I need to replace my transmission crossmember?

Is there any difference in trans mount location between a 2004R and 700R4? Jegs lists a dual exhaust crossmember for the 700. Centerline of the transmission mount on the 2004R looks to be 3/4" shorter vs the 700R4.

**Edit** I looked at the diagram wrong, looks like the mount on the 2004R is nearly 5" further back than a 700R4.

I modified a stock crossmember for a 700-R4, and had to cut off about an inch of the mount pad to clear the oil pan when I swapped to a 200-4R. I used to extol the virtues of the Jeg's crossmembers, but their TH400/200-4R model was significantly less robust than the TH350/700R4 models I purchased 10 years earlier. Plus, it just plain did not clear the floorpan, which the instructions warns will happen if you have old body bushings. If you care to try, I will sell you mine at a discount over what Jeg's sells them for.
