you sent parts without payment? No offense, but thats not smart no matter where you are....or who you are dealing with.

It always sucks to hear ppl getting scammed..I've been scammed before but i hope you guys get it worked out. This is a valuable place and i'd hate to see it ruined by a few noobs...but at the sametime, all noobs shouldn't be blamed for what 1 noob has done. Its always a gamble when dealing with MONEY and The Internet..

What was the deal with your transaction...DId you send him the cash and emblems in lieu of something he was selling???? If you did get hosed that sucks....I believe you should have a minimum amount of posts in order to sell here... 8)

I've done that a few times with no problem. I guess I'm lucky but I have seen them posting and they seem alright. I never sent anything I can't afford to miss and I won't loose any sleep over it. I want to make sure they get it before the send the money so if they don't get it after they sent the money I don't want to be looked at as a scammer. I don't use paypal to get nickle and dimed to death. On the other side of the coin I haver bought stuff and I send the money up front and no problems with that either...

thankfully there are more honest people in this world than dishonest so I don't mind taking a chance....

either that or have members have to be a donating members to post classifieds. i have seen it done before to keep the forums from becoming craigslist. it could also generate some revenue for the site. 🙂

t10blaze's idea is one I hadn't thought of.... I might consider it. This whole post count thing to me is just arbitrary bullshit, and will only project the image of this site as a "good ol boys club." Which apparently a lot of people would like it to be....

since 88hurstolds has his name and address why not make a phone call to the police in the perks town to report the theft..if every time someone got ripped off they made a complaint to the proper authorities instead of GP403 (no disrespect meant GP403)that will make people think twice before trying to rip people off. For $81 some people think it wouldn't be worth your while to track him down but let him know he's wrong. It's good to warn others on here but that does not stop him
