Do Rear A-Body Springs work on a G-Body?

can anybody clarify that a rear 2" spring from a Chevelle would work on my stock cutlass? and if so would they actually give me 2" of drop as advertised?

my budy bought a 2" drop Hotchkis kit for his A-body cutlass, and they shipped him G-body ones. They cannot swap... Not unless you do some mods, and even then I think your G-body will sit higher than it's supposed to (I think A-bodies are heavier in the back than our G-bodies).

alright thanks man. im just trying to find some cheaper then opgi springs. they want like 250 to ship them to my house in ontario. kind of expensive.

I'm in kitchener and we use to race at Flamboro and now at Delaware...are you looking just to lower the car or add spring rate as well?

you could also order thru a speed shop... We've got a few here in Ottawa, like KVR performance, Bensons, etc... My budy ordered his through KVR.

funny story is...
they sent him the wrong ones for his A-body, but never checked the box when my buddy returned them. My buddy just kept the G-body ones, and sold them... Made an extra $500 off of KVR's ****up.
