Well like another person said on here, since my wife thinks I pour what time I dont spend with her its in the garage adding or pulling parts on my 86 so she got the name "the mistress." lol, my wife just looks at the car with this angry look everyday because I swear I can get into the car and she starts right up with no problems and can probably drive cross country with no problems, but as soon as she even tries to go around the block, it either stops on her or something goes wrong (seriously) then I get back into it and its fine again lol. Maybe I should call her CHRISTINE!!! That 86 does not like my wife and she knows it.

The gf plain refuses to drive the red car for that reason :lol: . I don't know how many irrate phone calls I've gotten from her that the car died, runs like sh*t, wont start, keeps stalling, etc, yet when I go to look into it, everything is fine, runs perfect. I just tell her it was a slug of water that caused the problem, even though I know it's "user error" :lol: .

Nah.....I just call it the GP. I do call the Caddy the Hooptie Ville (like Coupe De Ville if you don't get it) when it gives me sh*t.

That really made me laugh out loud about the car running like crap or dying or something like that, My 80 AMC was nicknamed "Christine" just for that fact.. It had the original radio in it, and I always listen to classic Rock and never had any issues with it UNTIL my GF's would get into the car, and out of now where the radio would go straight to the "oldies" station and it would run like crap. I woudl turn it to classic rock again, and then a minute later it would go to oldies again. Always freaked them out. I finally ended up changing the radio to a CD player but it still kept with the running like crap non sense, and if I didnt wash it ONCE a week it would act up again, I would have to talk to it all nice like and back to running like a dream....GO figure.. but My GP has only been driven by my wife twice, and broke down... For NO reaon, because like you guys said, there was nothing wrong at all. I can get in and it starts right up and drives like a dream !!! That is why my car's ALWAYS have a chicks name. @
