Those had a problem with melting the harness at the rear of the engine just above the exhaust crossover. Injectors would intermittently short causing a rough run. Sometimes it would take out the injector driver in the PCM, sometimes it wouldn't. I assume this is the area you already fixed?
Thanks for all the suggestions, It rained here all day so I didn't work on the van. I was so frustrated I needed a day off. Will try again another day.
The method I use to see if any injectors are not working is to spray some carb or intake cleaner into the intake by way of the air cleaner assembly. If there is a bad injector the engine will smooth out.
As said, get a code reader, they aren't much money. I had a 1993 Dodge Caravan, it was the same basic pushrod motor as your 2001 except the intake and yours had more power. We put on a bunch of miles with no internal motor issues. The trans was starting act up so it was time to go. As said rent a pressure tester and really look over the wiring harness.
You can read the codes on your odometer, you only need a code reader if you want to turn off the check engine light if you don't want remove the negative battery cable.

Wow, I didn't know that . I got code p0206. I did a little research and there must be a wiring problem with #6 injector. I replaced the injector harness so it must be between that and the computer. At least I got something to go on now, thanks for helping
