Great thread! There are some items you find at Dollar Tree or Dollar General tend to surprise you. I guess it's good to keep an open mind and be willing to try different products, especially at a low risk price.
I also used to buy gallon (or less) containers of bleach for a buck. Good deal.

There is a dollar tree right next door to my local AutoZone. Just bought some gift bags there yesterday, actually. They actually carry a lot of name brand stuff, which I don't mind buying there. I wouldn't trust those $1 frozen steaks they have in the refrigerated isle, though

Yeah, you have to be especially careful buying any food products there. Like you said, you can occasionally find name brand items products. It's funny how they try to duplicate the labels of name brand products without causing any trademark infringements.

I see those ribeye steaks all the time but been too scared. Many times i see the sign and no steaks so someone likes them.

Lol I actually tried one of the steaks... Not really a big enough steak to call it a meal but damn if it wasn't good with some onions and mushrooms as a cheese steak sandwich..

You can probably disguise or enhance any crappy meat using onions and mushrooms.
