Door chromes removal

Is there some kind of civilized way to remove the door chromes without beating the clips to death from the back and sweeping the little plastic shards away? I'll be entertaining offers for door chromes momentarily btw if you have just 1 or 2 missing post or pm. I will not have a full set 3/4 of them was bent I already threw 1 away ty.
 
definitely not I was just becoming keenly aware as it was getting cold out that it was taking a lot longer than I would have thought it should to break the clips from behind but I guess it is what it is. I could have finished this entire car 3x by now if I had a garage. It's just too cold to get anything done before my hands start looking like lizard skin and I'm bleeding from the knuckles. lol :x
 
Winter sux, I lost 5 months of work on my '84 HO last winter because it was 10* out and 3ft of snow at all times.
The heater in my shop wouldn't do sh*t...
