door hinges

I'm going to the junkyard tomorrow on the hunt for some nice door hinges. Are the ones off of a 4 door the exact same as the 2 doors??? I heard only the lowers were the same. Anybody????

I pulled of a set off of 4 door regal for my GP worked great. Just rebuilt them since i had them off but not as much wear as my originals, the hole were the pin and bushings go through were too worn out to repair with just a oversized bushing.

Your chances of finding better 4-dr hinges than 2-dr hinges is probably attributed to the weight differential between 4-dr doors and 2-dr doors which are considerably heavier.

Thanks, so which cars do I look for?? Just the g-body platform???
