I have a 81 regal thats in pretty good shape for its age. The bumper fillers have already been replaced and the chrome bumpers still look good. But the trim on top of the door that runs next to the window needs replacing. Most of them are chrome with a rubber strip that runs on the back of it and sits against the window. It prevents water from running down into the door. Well the rubber is dry rotted. Is there any one that makes these or can you still get them from the dealer?

i got my window sweeps for my elky from opgi, but if you can find them somewhere else cheaper, do so. i paid a friggin arm and a leg for mine but there flawless and now i just gotta install them with rivets when it gets warmer.

Getting them aftermarket is damn expensive. I've found a few at junkyards that are in good shape but the problem is that there were several appearances - the wide chrome strip is a lot harder to find.
So yeah... mine are still dry-rot gone.

Caution. All Gs are not the same trim. Even some diff between models within a division.
