Interesting on the upper hose, I will pick up one. I assume for the 4.7 V8? Actually my Dakota has the rad cap in the upper hose, so different. Is that the Ford crank pulley? As I have said, you need the Olds 4.3 V6 diesel water pump for the sbc set up to work. I am buying Larry's setup and I am stealing the idea for the crank pulley alignment from the other guy, what comes around, goes around.

Yes I think your correct I measured and used a coat hanger bent how I wanted the hose to run the measured the inlet and outlet and matched up one at the local Napa the lower is stock the water pump is reverse rotation and note I have not found a source for a correct gasket as the pump housing is different then a regular one so I made a gasket no big deal

I found something interesting, Loctite Extend Rust Neutralizer and Plasticote Rust Converter are the exact same product. They smell and look exactly a like, so get whichever one is cheaper in your area.

Serpentine brackets ordered from Larry. I am going to get the A/C functioning as well, which I need a clutch puller. When I had the serpentine on my 94 Z71 with the Olds 350, one bolt wasn't enough on the driver's side. The belt took out the electrical connector on the A/C compressor. I actually tried grinding away the material to solder, almost successful but no quite. So I will get a new clutch. I see Rock Auto is out of the Dorman pulley, it had dimensions for it, a 1/4 smaller than my current truck pulley. The Cardone replacement has no specs. I will be back soon with updates.

Remember before you judge, I am not Donovan! I used robertson recessed head screws where I couldn't reach the back, bolt and nut where I could. Rust converter on the rot and Rust Destroyer primer under the aluminum. I will be scuffing it up and grinding down anywhere the heads are sticking up then filler around the edges. I also cut the old garage door track, it will fit perfect below the driver's door once a spacer is made behind it. I will tie into the frame with carriage bolts.
