Trying to increase mpg by making it too ugly to drive. LOL.

The paint was horrible, trust me. Fixing some rust and the vinyl top is gone. The speed dimples might help but I have a feeling the orange peel had a similar result🙂. Better paint, shorty headers, dual 2.5" x pipe exhaust back on and convert to a serpentine belt drive.

Now I just need to pick up, the alternator, Ford crank pulley and billet brackets.

I also found Pacific G body sells the serpentine adapter brackets for more money. One thing they offer is an adapter ring for the Ford crank pulley. The other guy will reweld and redrill Ford pulley for $40. I actually have a useless underdrive Olds aluminum crank pulley that I will cut and use as my own adapter ring.

just spray it with clear and you will have "snow camo"" since its winter 11 months of the year up there!!

Cmon now, only 5 to 6 months of winter🙂. Our G bodies certainly weren't designed for winter, the heat sucks and they rot to nothing quickly. It should only take a couple of days to do the body work then wait to it is warm enough to primer and paint. I should be ordering the serpentine brackets in 2 weeks time.
