i just ordered the arb and lower relocation brackets today 😀 sorry i missed you today, hope your back gets better..i can't wait to get it installed and road tested :wink: i can't begin to tell you how hard it is to find some one around here that knows how to set up a g-body to hook up!!! if this set up works like you say it does on your car i'll just have a big grin on my face when i leave them on the line haha!!! ever since i started drag racing in 1997 i've been beat by a lot of cars and didn't get much respect from a lot of them....going from a 15.50 car in 97 to a car with the potential to get into the 10.s soon is a dream i've had for a long time.....my wife has been with me at the strip all these years and now even she has a smile on her face when i show her 12 second time slips. and a lot of white time slips, i don't think that there's a lot of drag racers on this site, there seems to be a lot of guys that go to the strip once or twice though..... i've been waiting all summer for fall so it won't be so hot ..... by the way i think this site has a drag racing spot in the forum maybe we should use it instead of the general topics page what do you think? maybe if we can get a few more people interested we might get gp403 to help us out setting it up...you know there should be a place to post et's and show pic's of our cars in action!!!i'am getting so sick about drag racing i just bought a video camera so i can shoot video of my car!!! nows there got to be something wrong with me 😀 lets talk...jesse

Sorry I missed your call today. Glad to hear you getting the ARB , it's probably one of the best upgrades I've done to mine in the suspension area to date. If you don't already have some, you'll need some quality rear shocks. Adjustable ones are nice if you can afford them, or some good 50/50s.

Make sure you take the time to install the ARB right the first time, don't rush it. Once you get it installed drop me a line and I help you dial it in for the best results. Didn't you say you were running a 700r4 transmission? We'll have to talk about that if your looking to get into some serious wheels up action.

Anyway give us a call or pm me if I can be of any help and or you need anything else. BTW the guy you spoke with today is very knowledgeable so if I'm not available he should be able to help you with whatever you might need. His name is Kevin, but I call him Stick-Boy he likes that... 😛 ....Peace

your right about the 700r4,i was thinking about a 400 trans and maybe a 4000 thousand stall, what do you think? the best thing about it is i can bulld my owm trans so all i've got to do is get the right parts together.i hope the 700 will stay together long enough!!... i got to tell ya i've been putting this car together for a long time so i've got a lot of patience 😀 how is your car set up and what et's ,you got any pic's

Thats great! To answer the question about drag racing yes I do do it. I went my first time when I was 16 or 17. I have never takin the Cutlass because it had the wonderful 307 with a rod knock. I was taking my 00 Grand Prix for a while but that car has over 170,000 miles and I am not trying to blow that up. Maybe next summer I might have my Cutlass running and driving with the Olds 350 I have in it. This is my first project car I have ever done and I am learning so much from the experience. I love how I have also got a bunch of my friends hooked on drag racing also. They didnt think they would really like it that much but after I take them they love it! The last time I went to the track I beat my buddies 5.0 Mustang and he hated me for that! 😀 Hopefully I will be doin the same thing to his car when I get my Olds driving.

I try to make as many Tuesday night Test & Tunes as I can. My car gets cruised more than raced but it still stomps most Mustangs.
12.90 @105 with a 1.87 60' Not fast enough to make a top ten list but I'm still working on it :lol:
