Soon, I'm putting in my 350 and 700r4 into my regal and I was wondering if I could get a donor drive shaft from another car so that I can get it shortened and balanced ahead of time to accomodate the 700 trans. Are all drive shafts pretty much the same diameter wise, etc, or do I need to get one from another g-body.
Also, I heard that the shaft has to be shortened 3in. for a 700r4 from my stock TH200c, giving a total length of 49.5in., can anyone confirm this for me. Thanks
