$26 with shipping LOL

RockAuto is killing themselves with the shipping. With a big order that sources from different warehouses, you get charged from each one. Most of the time if I can't get it all from one warehouse, I just pass.

I agree with that.
I have switched brands of items to get things from the same warehouse or passed like you.
I always try to have a list of things I need so that the shipping isn't as bad per item.
With one item...well, you saw the price.

I didn't use the oil switch on my car. I just found the wire that went to the oil switch and ran it right to the choke.

tan wire?

No, the tan goes back to the oil indicator light on the dash. The wire that powers the choke is .8 brown/white in my 83' Pontiac book, but .8 brown in my 81' Chevy book. All I can tell you for sure is that it is "HOT" in "RUN" key position.

it was the Brown with the white stripe.
I hooked it up direct.

Motor is almost ready to fire. Just need to prime the oil pump, set the timing, cross my fingers and turn the key.

I haven't ordered from them in awhile just for that reason. I priced some Moog suspension parts between them and Advance and it wouldn't have saved me any money after shipping. I don't have to play the hurry up & wait game with FedEx or UPS either.

I hate the waiting part.
Right now I am waiting for a transmission crossmember that was shipped out of the US by USPS. It landed in customs in Toronto where it sat for a week. By the time it cleared customs we had a postal strike going on so it is still sitting there.
My car only needs about an hours work to fire up my new motor but I can't drive the car until I can put the crossmember under the transmission. GGGRRRRRRRR!!!!

Canada Post is going back to work today. Wooo Hoooo. My Crossmember will be on it's way again.
