Drivers side t top quesion

so when I unlock the drivers side t top, I can't pull the key out until I lift the t top up and push the lever back in. The passenger side I can unlock and pull the key out with no prob.

Is this normal?

some lube will probably cure that

Thanks but I am not sure that's the problem. It turns freely enough, just cant pull the key out after unlocking it. You have to open the handle lift the ttop and then close the handle again, turn the lock back to locked before you can take the key out.

I don't think it'll hurt to take it apart to lube the components
