Whats keeping you from moving the driveshaft loop back? I ran a Metco one in my Chevelle with a 4" aluminum driveshaft. Just moved it to where it fit and went with it.
it's to bad John @ jtracecraft isn't making parts anymore,I'm running his loop and it tucks up nicely into the top of the tunnel.

If the OP plans on taking it to the track, all the sanctioning bodies require the loop to be within 6” of the front U-joint. You can’t just put it wherever you want. If they find it to be outside of this measurement, they can fail you during the tech inspection.
