First off congrats on the upgrade ;)

Second Yes and Yes.

Your stock driveshaft will have to be cut down 3" and the crossmember will have to be moved one inch(I can't remember if it is forward or backwards(I think forward) Jegs sells a nice dual exhaust crossmember to bolt a 700-R4 into a G-body. I have one and it is a nice piece.

Would the driveshaft out of a gbody with the 2004r be the size i need or would that have to get cut as well?

The 200-4r driveshaft will be the same length as the one you already have in your car.

the 200r4 is the same length as the TH350 and metric 200, it just put the mount farther back so it uses a different crossmember.
