dropping a 454 in my 84 cutlass.. oil pan?

I wanted mine with the contour so it clears my other parts.

Not to hijack the thread but how much clearance do you think you have between the air cleaner and the hood?
 
There wasnt much room,but I was able to squeeze my old 2 13/16 K&N filter back in,although it appears to be rubbing a little bit;

Not real sure,but it might just be when I stand on the gas pedal :wink:

I think its rubbing on a hood rib,I might just clearance it with a hammer.

I was worried for a minute about my swap but I just realized that you dont a cowl hood so thats relieving. I doubt my 14x5" K&N will fit regardless. Its close with the small block in it now :lol:
 
No cowl hood,I kinda like the sleeper look :shock:

ok a little more off topic.... you guys fitting power brakes on your cars with 2"header tubes? i got the 2241 headers and SEEMS like it gonna be tight and second question... anyone take the brake booster off and just run the master cylinder direct to firewall and use a push rod off the pedal?
