been on the net searching for dual exhaust kits for a 350 sbo and nobody seems to have them except for headerback or cat back. Im running stock manifolds but I want true duals or, if I have to, an x pipe system...any ideas?
Thanks!

Well, I was thinking about that, but I dont want to tow the car to a muffler shop around here (I live in the sticks) because the few that we have are anal about inspections, cat converters, and just not real bright. I was planning to buy a kit and install it myself in my garage, but that may not be an option. thnks for the tip...

i have true duals with the stock manifolds on my olds 350. my manifolds had the crossover but i made a blockoff for the crossover pipe and ran both pipe individually the length of the car. i am also running an iceman crossmember

where did i find what?

i did the crossover block off myself but i had a shop run the pipes from the manifols back because i dont have a pipe bender

Your gonna end up having to take it to a shop to have pipes bent, or measure it out yourself, buy the pipe and have the shop bend the pipe where you want it bent. That would keep you from having to hear about catalytic converters and having to tow it in. To me that seems the easiest way.

ok...thanks!

When I bought it, my 81 had a 350 chevy with headers and duals on it. I pulled the chevy and put a 307 olds with manifolds in it. Had a muffler shop run pipe from the manifolds to the header duals. Done.

You'll need to fab a blockoff for the pass. side manifold (where the pipe from the driver side originally went) and modify the trans crossmember to clear the driver side pipe. Or you can get a dual exhaust crossmember from Jegs or Summit.
