You are talking a about a built race car. I'm talking about stock street cars with stock exhaust manifolds. In the Bizarro world of built race cars , 351 clevelands were the fastest things on the street in the late 70s' early 1980's.because their heads flowed 320 CFM.

My 69 z came with the headers in the trunk.
Define street car.. I drove my 67 to work all week. Stock? No.. street.. yes. At a Ford dealer no less. Took a bunch of stuff over that. Told them out run it, I'll buy a Ford. They got close we Cougar Eliminator some idiot traded in. It was built.
The Cleveland had massive intakes runners, but Ford had to put an ugly dog leg in the exhaust port to get it in the Mustang. Unless you copped the heads in half and added plates the really didn't flow on the exhaust side.
And no the Buicks were quickest.
Kind of fun reliving those days, and don't get me wrong, there were some baaddd men running most any combo.
Nobody went undefeated lol
And the new engines are way advanced
