Noticed it today, that the e-brake cable is rubbing the backside of the LR floor pan. Is there a common bracket that gets pushed upwards that needs pulled back down?

All the bushings I've seen are good. the car has 95k miles and is an original FL car.... bought it from the original lady owner. I'll check again though..

Mine is the same way.

Mine touches the floor pan. I thought that was normal.

I will put some heater or fuel hose on it to help with the "rubbing". On the 2014+ GM truck forum there a lot of folks that put heater hose on the E-brake cable where it rubs the frame pretty bad in one spot. Good to see my 1985 and 2014 both will have some heater hose on the e-brake cable. At least it's consistent.
