Thanks man, I appreciate it. From what I can see, I like 'em. 8) Lookin' good!
From your estimation, do they stick out just as far as the sport mirrors...or further out?

The factory mirrors look a lot smoother and flow with the car better. It reminds me of those Civics that you see with the stainless steel mirror "upgrade" :puke:

My 2 cents

Aaron,
They're basically factory style mirrors, only earlier. Kind of a "retro look". They do look somewhat similar to the basic factory chrome mirrors, just not as bulky.
I certainly like them on the early Novas, Chevelles, Camaros. They're not your typical cheesy, cheap, aftermarket mirrors.
I guess we're all entitled to our opinions and tastes.

Yeah, I'd also like to see a full view of the car with the mirrors mounted. I guess we'd get an overall perspective of how it looks and flows with the car.

Do you have a picture of the whole car (like your other picture) but with the new mirrors :?:
I would probably change my opinion about it if I see that. The only thing I can picture right now is those stupid Honda mirrors

I don't care....go drive a Honda. I have no idea about civics...this forum is for the G body Chevrolet.

:lightsab:

WoW ... settle down there chief. I'm not saying your car looks like a HONDA  Just wanted to see a picture of the car with the mirrors installed to get a better idea of what it looks like.

:worthless:

Thats cool. I'll get some pics here soon. I tried to spray some primer in 35 degree weather in the carport and didnt have much lucK, even with the hot lights and propane heater. i need to get a primer gun with a 2.0 tip so i can spray the thick stuff and hope for warmer weather.

Cool! What primer are you shooting, urethane, polyester?..Slicksand? I use a 2.0 tip for shooting (SlickSand) that stuff, but they actually recommend a 2.2 tip. I have thinned it slightly with acetone, and got good results.
Yeah, when it's too cool you won't get good results. Is it possible to enclose the carport? Plastic sheeting perhaps?
