i'm having trouble finding a rebuild kit for the eaton posi i got in the mail today. i figured since its used i might as well go ahead and rebuild it before i put it in the car and find out it has bad clutches. i have gone to eatons site and they dont have much for info on what comes in the kit. if it even is a kit or if its just a regular limited slip. (cost is the same or close). anyone have any experience with these? mine came out of a 2000 something z28 camaro 6spd. it has 3.42 gears right now but the pinion was damaged in shipping so oh well. for $100 you cant argue, i think i want something a little lower anyways. let me know what you guys know about these. i would appreciate it. on a side not, i saw a guy that was shimming these things to do without the springs, any idea on how well this works?

you are also goning to need new axles since those cars had 28 splines and yours is 26

cool just wanted to let you know so you dont tear it down and be surprized and cant put it back together
