I just bought an elderbrock 3711 intake for an 350 olds from a guy. This intake is the one for the EGR. I was wondering is there anyway that I could still use this intake if I was not going to use an EGR on my motor? Can anybody give me some advice?

You could make a block off plate , but using the egr will not hampen any performance .

If I used the EGR what do I connect it to? Mine is not connected on the car now.

I would suggest not running the EGR valve assuming you have the engine already running/tuned good right now because if you add an EGR valve, you really need to tune ( carb and timing ) around the EGR so why bother. Just block the EGR port off with a blockoff plate.

If you really wanted to run EGR and were planning on tuning around it for max drivability, all you need to do is bolt on the EGR valve ( there are different kinds, so you'd need the right one ), and hook it up to ported vacuum ( or a special dedicated EGR port ). If you have a Qjet, this port should be on the front drivers side. You can also place a TVS in line so the EGR won't work when the engines cold.
