Ele water pump and alternator

Hello,
I have a 78 cutlass 350/350 that I'm built for my son as a grad present.
I bought a proform electric water pump and the bracket for lower alternator mount. The problem i have is where the hose comes out from the pump comes out at the alternator. I searched the fourm and no luck. Im sure someone has ran across this issue.

I would call the Proform tech department to see what their answer is

350 olds or 350 chevy and what side are you trying to mount thr alternator on.
