i just bought a 1970 olds rag top and dont think its the original engine, and i cant find anything on these codes, this is the number from the top of the timing cover-557752-3b and the number on the oil filler tube is 8010321 if anyone know anything about these numbers or knows a site its would be great!

I think it is a 77-79 350 with windowed mains. I think it should have 3A heads. Depending on how much power you want from it will determine if you want to keep that block or not.

that is the same block # i have. My engine came from a 77-79 olds. It is an olds 350 rocket
