Are the decals for the distributor coil cover and wiper motor the same on a 1987 Cutlass as an 85-86? I reached out to Dr. Decal and he said he doesn't have them for the '87 so I'm assuming they are different. Any ideas on where to find them?

I got some I made myself simply due to the vendors not having the correct stuff.

1987 442 and VIN Y distributor is the same as 1986. I'd have to check for sure, but I think VIN Y 1985 is the same number. Fits ALL roller cam Olds V8.

85 442 and earlier flat tappet use the 457 number.

I think they changed in 86, but for sure 87 for the CD4 cover sticker. Slightly changed from 1985.

Great info...thanks!

Um, I need to back the truck up on the 86 442 and "all Olds V8" stupid comment I made earlier.

The 85 flat tappet 442 VIN 9 and 84-back flat tappet Y and 9s used 1103457. The roller 85 VIN Y used the 1103602.

FIRST part of the year, the 86 442 AND VIN Y used 1103602. The second part of the year the VIN 9 442 ONLY used 1103677 while VIN Y retained the 602.

VIN 9 AND CANADIAN VIN Y (1103618) use different distributors for 1987, the 677 on 442 and USA VIN Y only. And 88 VIN Y used the 677. Interestingly, the 602 was the service distributor for the 677. Funny, I got all 3 decals.

If you followed all that...well, good for you. I got confused just typing it all.

This is the one on my 87 442.
