Ive got an '81 Elco w/350 and 700R4. Ive got a couple of issues I'm running into. Everything is pushed back a couple of inches.
1. Transmission support mount. Do I need to drill new holes in the frame or is there a mount that will work off another vehicle?
2. I've got a brake line resting against a wrapped header. Is this going to be problematic?
3. Can I use the same shift arm linkage?
I believe this came original with a 305. Not sure what transmission was in it before, but it was original as well.
These are things I am seeing, but feel free to let me know any other issues you have come across that I may run into with this combo.
