Well that's it 2018 no Englishtown!!!!!

Track has been there since 1965 and now it will be a parking lot to store new cars.

I guess to many residence complaining about the noise and traffic.

Maybe they should have researched the area before buying a house.

I am so sick of these primadonna b*tches ruining the working mans fun!!

It seems the drag racing will be gone, the rest remains. Swap meets, other races, shows, ect will still remain.

Just like in Danbury CT back in the early 80’s when our paved short track was closed and destroyed for a new shopping mall in its place.

What a shame about Englishtown. Went a few times when I was living back east and enjoyed those trips.

I can't help but wonder: why would ALL of the other events continue, yet only the drag racing cease? There seems to be an undisclosed cause behind the decision (i.e.- insurance, noise complaints, etc.)

If you've ever driven through the neighborhoods on the way to the track, its all McMansions and crap. I bet some of the snooty inhabitants complained about the noise. Well, newsflash people - the track was there long before your upscale homes were built. Did you not know where you were moving?

And sadly UNGN, rompers for men are apparently a thing and the strip mall which will replace the track will probably have a store that sells them, along with nut free, glucose free, gluten free, free range, organic, locally sourced, sugar free, taste free acai bowls. What the hell is this world coming too?
