Im dumb. I read the post that said he had a 350 hp small block 😳 Beeter probably is right about the 307.
 
Yeah. The 4.3 S10/Sonoma trucks are faster than a stock G-Body. They make a little more power (20-50 more, in general), and weigh between 2800-3000 lbs. Those run around 16 flat with an overdrive trans and appropriate gears (3.42 to 4.10 depending on the engine). 17s maybe.
 
3,500lbs with 150HP & say 230TQ will net a different result than say 150HP & say 150TQ of a much smaller motor. Just saying keep it in mind. Use weight of car as driven this includes you so if car is 3,500 and you are 200 use 3,700lbs.
