To those that have done this install. I can't find an answer to whether you need to use the fuel pump harness in the new kit or if my current fuel pump wiring is fine. My Regal is already setup with an EFI tank and pump since it is originally a turbo T-type. I have the fuel system all setup for my carb which just sets up 7lbs to carb and returns excess to tank. So fuel wise I just need to swap the regulator to an EFI fuel regulator and the fuel system is done. Just would prefer not to cut into my chassis harness to cut and re-run the wires to the new fuel harness if not needed.

You need the wiring diagram for your car that tells you how many wires are coming out of the stock pump and what color they are, because you will be tapping into them or cutting into them to match the new system. I would figure that your stock harness will do, so you won't be running the new harness all the way to the tank. That's for the cars that don't have EFI. So rest easy on that thought.

Im using the same system for my monte build but im using a in tank Phantom aeromotive pump make sure that your stock pump works at the required amount of psi for the throttle body it might be lower.

I should have mentioned the fuel pump is not stock. I replaced it with a racetronic unit when the stock efi pump failed on me and couldn't even supply the 7psi to a carb. The car also has been completely rewired with a Painless wire harness so no original wires or hardware. Just making sure the EZ-EFI doesn't need the ability to turn on and off pump.

If the EZ EFI instructions have the pump wires going to the CPU in any way then yes the pump will be turned on and off by that system.
It's not a bad thing though. Plus you can wire a switch into it shut it off if you want.
