I have one of those flex fans. Its Ok, had some issues keeping my motor cool. Never went higher then 230*, I'm running a 160* thermostat and I run about 190-195 in traffic now, was running a 180*. I added a pusher electric fan for traffic, it helped keep it down. I plan on going electric and upgrading to a aluminum radiator in time, currently running a 3row HD old school radiator.

Late model Chevrolet Malibu dual fans. Can be picked up at your local salvage yard cheap and designed to last.

You don't have to spend a fortune to have electric fans on your G. I got these dodge intrepid fans from the junkyard for $40. Topped it off with a $30 fan controller from Amazon and some custom brackets. So I now have an adjustable dual electric fan setup for less than $100.

are there any sites or forums on installation of electric fans? i have a set i snatched a couple years ago that have a shroud already. but have no clue how to install them. as far as relays ect

Yes that kit would work. In fact the only difference between that kit and the one I have is the adjustable temperature probe. The kit should come with a diagram to show you how to wire it. All you'd need to do is find a pin out diagram for your fans.
