Fastback G's

They can look decent bu they need wheels and tires and they all look better with a spoiler, also the vinyl top doesn't really work well on them. Some of the sporty 2 tone paint jobs changes the eye level and makes them look more proportionate.

My parents owned a car lot growing up (Dad still does). Around 1987 he had a fastback 442 on the lot. It was a 260 auto, and I thought it was fast because of the fastback and stripes. Little did I know what it really was. He had many unique cars during that time that I wish I had. He had a 1977 Dodge Charger Daytona with a 440 (look it up), several 76-77 GP's that were sharp!!!, a 1978 Aspen Supercoupe, 1979 Mustang Cobra (Fox Body), and my all-time favorite was a 1978 Grand Am, black and gold, lowered with black buckets, a vinyl top and sunroof. That one he wished he would have kept.

they look kinda cool from the front off from center but when you get around to the side you see where it all goes wrong and it just turns into "that which shall not be named" ugly after that. go around the back bumper and pack a vomit bag you'll need it.

that being said the buick DOES look better with that spoiler. if they all had them to give them a sportier appearance they might have done better but probably not by much.

i always thought they looked like their wagon cousins with the back half of the roof caved in. just doesnt look right.
