Favorite Mechanic YouTuber's?

Bad Obsession Motorsports - great detailed builds. Very entertaining. But they don't uploaded too frequently
Deboss Garage - Lots of different kinds of content. engine swap, truck, cars, heavy equipment
Junkyard Digs - different junkyard kinda and getting them running.
Mighty Car Mods - They really went through a boring period there where it just seemed like they were buying something and bolting crap on.
The Skid Factory - Spinoff from Mighty Car Mods, but much more technical
Engineering Explained - Very technical/engineering type stuff. but largely automotive related. Not so much mods or projects or anything though.
Richard Holdener - Tons of engine dyno testing, tuning, junkyard turbo builds etc
Donut Media - some decent stuff there, some of their stuff is really annoying though
Hoonigan - I liked the build and battle series they were doing, but don't necessarily watch too much of their other stuff.

Non/quasi car related
This Old Tony - mostly machining content. But does a few other things. Highly entertaining
Fortnine - If you're into bikes it's very informative and very entertaining. Don't really do much on cruisers - more street, ADV, standard bikes. They are a online store, but their videos aren't really centered on advertising
Lazze Metal shaping - tons of videos on metal shaping techniques. Good for body panels etc
Ron Covell - similar to Lazze

I'll ask the dumb question...why no Scotty Kilmer? I know, if its not a Toyota or Lexus he hates the car, but I generally find him entertaining and informative.

Uncle Tony's is good too. Also, I enjoy Chris Fix.

In my opinion-
Gimmicky/clickbait headlines
Worthless information
Close minded

His voice, actions, subject matter, to name a few things. Honestly can't stand to watch him long enough to give a full list.

My list is pretty long since I work from home and have youtube playing as background noise.

-Automotive Tech/Build Related
Vice Grip Garage, obligatory humor and 'hack' fixes (he is like 30 minutes from me)
Uncle Tony's Garage, I'm not a mopar nut but he has some good tech and just funny/informative stuff
The Skid Factory, I like the fab work
Motion Raceworks, good tech info that is build related
Turbo John, more good tech info that is drag suspension related
Fullboost, Aussie stuff and neat seeing other types of builds
No Name Racecars, local grudge/no prep racer
Deboss Garage, Cool builds with a lot of fab work and a hint of heavy off road & industrial stuff
vehcor, salvage auction rebuilds
Richard Holdener, obvious Dyno content and LS stuff +more
Nivlac57, Builds similar to what I do, also an Engineer, does a lot of fab work, odd stuff (Atlas 4200)
Fuel Injection Sucks, The old turbo LS 'Bago and his buddy Corey does odd swap stuff (2jz tempest, atlas checker cab, dodge turbo stuff)
Finnegan's Garage, It's like 50% of roadkill but free!

-Automotive 'entertainment' related
Vinwiki, there are some good story tellers & history, Travis Bell, Rob Pitts, the artist guy I forget his name, some are easy ignores but some are pretty cool
Hoovies Garage, I LOVE watching him buy worn out highly depreciated Eurotrash and pay out the nose to get it repaired. He has some more supercar stuff like lambos I don't much care about but he will buy a conversion van or GMT400 burban and have just as much if not more videos on near worthless stuff, good mix
Tavarish, When Car-Trek is on

-Non car related
Welker Farms, Farm in Montana, lots of cool fab and equipment restoration
AVE- tool reviews, one liners, actually learn stuff too
This Old Tony, Awesome machining and welding content
Millennial Farmer, Farms about 30 minutes from my family
Mark Felton, Awesome WW1, WW2 to Vietnam military history. Find actual photographs and audio clips, weaponry, people, events, what history should be, telling what happened and not putting their spin on it
I ran across millennial farmer yesterday and really enjoyed it.

Hafrod's Builds - His 55 is almost done and his little custom changes always have me interested. The guy has good taste (even if he did sell that beautiful 78 Salon)

South Main Auto out of somewhere in the rust belt of New York State. Straight diagnostics step by step. Scotty Kilmer? I was looking for a car he would recommend and I found it finally; a horse!

I second South Main Auto. I've watched a few Eric the Car Guy videos. I enjoy the troubleshooting and diagnoses. I also watch project farm from time to time.

I think I'd rather eat hot rusty tacks than watch any Scotty Kilmer videos!
