My favorite so far has been the Blue Ridge Parkway from Southern WV to Asheville area. We thought it would be a beautiful relaxing drive. For me, it was fun place to try out my new old "Hurst Olds". Here's a pic from it:

I've always wanted to drive that road, and I can't thing of a neater car to have done that in! Great pic!

Thanks, I appreciate it. I did think it would be a relaxing drive in the country, but that road can be quite a rush, especially after dark with deer everywhere. 8)

tryi it in dense fog at 2 a.m. in a rental car! still thanking god for letting me live! I live here in NC and try to drive that stretch whenever I can get out that way(wife preferrs going to the beach).

kyle, I'm hoping to hit that stretch of asphalt this summer with the mustang club.... really looking foward to it if I have the weekend off!

Azmalibuwagon, you reminded me of another. The road from Waynesburg PA to Wheeling WV. You are either on top of a ridge, or on the bottom. Then that looooong downhill into Wheeling while listening to WWVA on the radio. Did that around 66'-67' and what a dusty crusty town Wheeling was back then, I'm sure it's better today.
