I know one or two people using them. From what I'm told they bolt right up to the stock bumper shocks.
Thank you. I could get the stock chrome ones but I saw like 300+ for each one and I saw the fiberglass ones somewhere that were cheaper. My back ones rusted so I might as well replace them before it gets painted, I like how they look with the fiberglass bumpers.

Just so you know, the fiberglass ones do not have the same crash protection as the steel ones. Not something you want on a street driven car.

I would have to also state what was mentioned above, that these aren't made for street use. Even a little bump from a parking lot foe will damage the car if you have these bumpers. Also, don't think they would pass a safety inspection. Just my two cents.

Get black paint to match aftermarket ones. They will be out shortly. I think you are looking for a black out look for a better price. This will solve both missions for you. Give it about 8 weeks and they will be available.

They're really that weak? They don't have stronger ones? I know the protection isn't good but didn't think the fiberglass was extremely weak like that. Something I gotta look into

The fiberglass outer bumper will bolt to the inner-reinforcement, and if your chrome bumper is rusted out the reinforcement probably is too. If not you're lucky, if so it's a good opportunity to grab some aluminum reinforcements.

It's true fiberglass bumpers aren't the greatest idea on the street, but as long as you retain the steel (or aluminum) reinforcement it's not as bad in my mind.
It's the folks with fiberglass roll-pans and no reinforcement behind them that are putting themselves in danger...
