What you don't see are all the safety lockouts this station has. This fuelling station is managed by Shell, and the maintenance schedule they must keep on it looks well taken care off...the thing is spotless!

Tell me...have you seen how big the storage tanks are for the average gas station that are underground? Also, locations that are able to fill your propane tanks are so much more volatile! All that compressed propane!

Its a line made by the head bad guy in The Road Warrior. He wants the good guys fat gas tanker for his fleet of marauders. He offers them a deal, if they just walk away from defending the gas he will spare them.

Ha! I totally didn't get the reference! Obviously! I bow to your immense movie knowledge greatness... Master Blaster!

The whole Mad Max series... amazing!

There was an autobody shop owner in Niagara, Ontario that built an exact replica of the Interceptor! It's been featured in a lot of articles.

There aren't many gas stations around that don't, but my local Bullseye has no ethanol in it's premium. Plainly says so on the pump and the pricing board by the highway. I don't run it in my new car, but I do run it in my regal. Ethanol does not play well with carbs and their rubber parts. I have small airports all around me so finding some AV fuel wouldn't be a problem either. Last time I bought any 110 Sunoco racing gas it was $5/gal.

Mad Max rules.
I have to say I also love the smell of AV gas as I ran it in my 13ft 0540 Lycoming airboat. The octane reading is that ability of that fuel to resist spark knock(Detonation) which can burn a hole in the piston. On a regular engine or a slightly hi-po you will get better performance out of a lower octane(regular gas) as the fuel burns faster. The higher octanes burn slower and have more heavy tars which allow them to burn slower ...But have a tendency to create deposits in the intake system(Due to the PCV system) and combustion chamber. I run AV gas in my husq chainsaw, generator and pressure washer as the fuel does not go bad. I do add a little Techron to keep everything clean though. I hate ethanol fuels.
