Akron, Oh.
Finally drove the Grand Prix to work, pretty nerve wrecking experience. I think because this is the first time I've driven her to a destination and not around the block. Also I think I need to get to know her. Anybody else have this experience? Or is it just me?

You still have a sense of accomplishment though.

How did she handle? As long as everything is put in right and built solid, you'll be just fine.

Also are you use to driving older cars? They have a much different feel than newer ones.

She did ok. Needs some tweaking. Last time I drove a carbureted car was back in 99', so yeah I will have to get used to driving an older car again.

I got you there. I haven't driven one since...

Anyway, I can't wait. I miss those old boats. It's just too bad the car had a spun bearing and caused the motor to lock up when I bought it. The original owner was told it has a slung rod... :blam: I have a 305 with 5K miles waiting to go into my 84 GP.

must be nice to drive, hell i havent drivend my 78 in about 3 years maybe 4 now??

It took about 5 years and three cars to get this project finally going.
