actually, you'd probably have a piece of crap. there is very little porting that can be done to vortecs without killing power. most people grind off the little "button" in the intake. unfourtunately that button helps create the "vortec" effect. there is some improvement to be made in the exhaust though.
you really do need to know what you're doing with those heads to do it right.

you are absolutely right, i forgot about that. a good port job would still have that little hump in there, people tend to think that the most material they can remove the better, but in allot of cases that is not true.

Most people that do port jobs also do not have a flowbench. They might be really good but, how do they know if they are benifiting anything.
